I’m one of those people who cannot focus in messy or unorganised work environments. There was once in high school, one of my legal studies teachers asked me to place something on his staff room desk - let’s just say my anxiety levels hit the roof when I saw his desk. I begged him to let me organise it and when he finally accepted I spent my entire recess & lunch for 2 days happily organising it all. It was so satisfying and I think the other teachers in the staff room were jealous of how pretty his desk looked. I even managed to find little potted plants in my visual arts room to decorate his desk with 😅 moral of the story - organise your work space people! It’ll make everything run so much smoother when everything has a ‘home’.
